3685
Has anyone heard anything about the demise of the 3685.Montana is no longer taking orders for that unit. I asked about removing one of the sofa's and replacing it with a couple of recliners and the dealer was told that that could not be done and that they were discontinuing that floor plan????

Don't know about the demise of the 3685 but I do know that you cannot remove either sofa as they are built over and hide the slide mechanism

Roger on the sofa removal..The two sofas was the only thing that held us back from ordering the 3685 we really liked the front living room. There is only the two of us (and the stupid bird) and we did not need all those extra sofas..but as you said it can not be done...It may be a moot point anyhow????

I had a conversation at the Pomona RV show last month with a senior Monty Rep, who told me that the FLs probably were being discontinued....they are not easily adapted to the assembly line, take a lot more time and effort to put together (a plus in my view), and don't sell as well as the other models. We still really enjoy our '03 FL, and feel the extra roominess was a big plus. Never did like the '04 or '05 versions with the two entry doors....waste of valuable storage space..,
Best

we love our 3685. IT works great for our two kids to travel with us and weekend camping when the oldest is home from college. We will look for whatever is best when we get ready to trade. won't be for a couple of years any how.

We'll just have to hang on to it a while now and see if it becomes a collecters item someday. HAHA
