They responded quickly on my 2007 last August. I called about my peeling decals. He said to send pictures. I e-mailed them. He then e-mailed diagrams showing all the decals and part numbers and told me to reply back with the specific decal part numbers I needed. I only needed the front and rear, which entailed 3 part numbers. I soon received a reply that my request had been submitted to "processing". Then I heard nothing for 4-5 weeks. About the time I was getting ready to call back, two boxes of decals landed on my front porch.

When Aarom(sp?) was the head of Montana Division, we were talking at one of the Fall Rally's and I told him if my graphics started to crack and peel on the front of the Monte I was going to go and talk to Coors Corporation in Colorado to replace them. He asked "Why would you go to Coors?" I informed him that the mountain on the front of my 2004 2980 was the exact mountain that Coors has on their cans and bottles. I would see if they wanted to advertise on my rig and I would be happy to let them pay me to drive around the country with the word Coors across the top of the nose and a blue mountain under it showing the Monte was cool to cold.

You could also head out near the railroad tracks and find one of those graphic art specialists that decorate the sides of the railroad cars and have them do a special art project on the front of your Monte, Mike!

I remember someone putting the bear decal from a Cedar Creek Silverback on the front of their Monte. Seems it had the Montana name but the bear under it. Don't remember who thought.

We are the ones that had the Cedar Creek bear decal on the front of our 3400RL. Jim always liked the bear decal on our daughter and son-in-law's FW so they gave him the decal as a Christmas present.

All of our decals were peeling and cracked but we had a new set on hand. We applied the new 'mountains' decal a little above the original and then the bear decal underneath. We really liked the way it turned out.

We removed the photo of the bear on the front of 'Monty' in our signature when we traded it for SOB.

In our experience if they had them or could get them they replaced them without question. We never needed a entire set for our 06 3400 but they sent replacement for the ones we needed.

we also went to a couple of Local graphic shops in Northern Ohio and the Mountain graphics are common as are the rest of the graphics.

Might be able to get better quality graphics locally at a fair price but free is always better.

I'm In the process of sending pics of all decals with cracking/peeling. Does anyone seriously think a single decal in the middle of the mountain collage can be replaced alone?
I sent decal numbers that were NOT cracked. The response was " our team needs to review pictures of all deficient decals. Sent thirty some pics with yellow stickies showing decal number.[V

Mike - the mountain is one part number and comes complete on a single sheet of backing paper. The MONTANA above it is a second part number. The two give the complete front.

I have replaced the MONTANA but not the mountain yet. I am assuming it will go on as though it were a single decal.

Here is the Keystone reply.

Good morning Mike,

Thank you for contacting Keystone RV. I am sorry to read that you are experiencing problems with your 2010 Keystone Montana. Occasionally a problem will present itself on one of our units. For these occasions, Keystone provides each customer with a One Year Limited Warranty. The warranty on your unit expired on 9/25/2010.
After the warranty expiration date we review everything on a case by case basis, per VIN; while looking at the entire history of the unit. I reviewed your unit history and there are no notes as to having decal issues prior to 2015. Your decals can crack, fade and peel due to the weather climate you are in.
Considering the time out of warranty and history in mind, we regret to inform you that Keystone will be unable to participate with replacement decals. Pending availability, you can pursue purchasing replacements through a Keystone dealer. You may utilize our online dealer locator: www.keystonerv.com.
Please know that Keystone stands ready to assist you with answering questions should the need arise.

Thank you,

Tracy Peffley

I like the idea of advertising for Coors and getting paid for it. Hey, school buses have advertising on the sides, right?

Must depend on the person doing the review. Mine is a 2007 and they sent decals free to me last August, 7 years old, and no previous "notes as to having decal issues prior to xxxx". In fact was the first time I had ever contacted Keystone about anything.

They have reconsidered and will send replacement graphics. I think the MOC name drop helped.

No doubt mentioning MOC gets their attention. Before I mentioned MOC it was "call your dealer". After mentioning MOC it was "send pictures".

The Montana letters come on a single backing sheet. The letters are individual, but spaced correctly via the backing sheet. The main mountain is one piece as well. If you've never done large graphic installs definitely go with a spray bottle and just a drop of dish soap for the "wet method". Also go with the "hinge method" of installing the actual decal. Read up on both prior to application. The mountain will be difficult no matter what as your front cap is not totally flat and has a compound angle that can easily cause air pockets or creases that are hard to work out. Been there and have the T-shirt. Prior to the install, use blue painters tape in long strips to generally position it all ahead of time aided by a few tick marks from a marker.

Agree with everything dieselguy said as he gave me the same instructions when I replaced mine. One suggestion is because the mountain is such a big decal I cut it into individual pcs. prior to the install and it made it much easier to handle.
