2 speed furnace fan and 2 stage burner

If I can fit in.. both Montana and Budget, I will be changing my original noisy, irritating furnace with it's loud and high amp draw blower motor, with the Atwood Excalibur XT 2 stage Furnace. Starts on high flame, high speed and lowers to low flame low speed when the space warms. They state it has a redesigned chamber for less turbulence, so it is quieter. There is no mention of a higher efficiency, so they haven't tackled that issue. I know the lower speed blower and lower amp draw would be much better for Boondocking, I would see if I could lock in the low speed and low flame with an over-ride switch. The furnace comes with a new thermostat and control board. List is around $1350, but I can get it for around $600-$770 depending on the size I go with. Have to do some research and thinking on that.
Does anyone have one of these baby's?

Odd that you should mention this. Just the past few days read somewhere, possibly RV.NET forum maybe, that this furnace has been discontinued. Did not pay much attention as I am not interested in doing this mod. Might want to check with mfg. May not be available or could possibly get a real deal on one.

Parts could then become a problem, however. Ozz, if you do find a better furnace option, we'd be interested also. Seems like there has to be a quieter and more fuel efficient option out there somewhere.
