Electrical Problem

I installed a new plug today because I thought the old one was broken. Plugged it in and wouldn't you know it, it don't work. Here is my problem. Basically everything in the camper works except the two TV recepticals, the stereo receptical and the bathroom light switch. All 110V stuff. All the fuses are good and non of the breakers has been tripped. When I meter both sides of the plug with the house current coming in, it only reads 110 on one side. Shouldn't it read the same on both sides of the three prong plug? The only other thing I did was to add another 12 volt battery for longer life but I hooked everything back up to one battery. HELP
