Earlene And The Iron

First, it is very unusual for Earlene to Iron something for me. I guess she felt bad about what happened to my short pants.
I sent this email and now I just have to post it here.
========================
Well, Earlene is going to do me a favor and iron my blue shorts that are so wrinkled from the combo washer/dryer.
She asks me to get the ironing board out, which I comply.
She sets it up on the table, nicely on a towel to keep the legs from scratching.
She opens up the dinette seat to get the Iron.
Now remember, she is all set up to iron, so she opens the iron box and pulls out the iron.
She turns around to iron and looks at what is in her hands.
It's the portable mixer.
Of course I was watching her, and that caused her to say some not so very nice words, which of course made me laugh harder, so she said some more words.

I think I might have to iron my own shorts.
==============================================

True story. I did not have to iron my shorts but when she finds out I posted this - that's going to be another story.

And behind every retired Marine is a woman that can kick his butt. You realize that you will be getting starch in your shorts from now on. Beware where she puts those creases.

and when she gets done with you, you're gonna have to clean those shorts again.

They were walking shorts - not the protect the pants kind of shorts. But I wouldn't put it past her to starch those just for spite!

I don't know Sandy. Maybe she was sending me a message that she just wanted to 'mix it up' a little.

Colleen,
I would never [s]say[/s]post anything I would not say to her face. (Now in private - well that's another story.)

With friends like you, I keep my enemies at far away points.
