Short: Lisa is in ICU, and is quite the sore little girl. Parents spending the night at the hospital. Gramma is here with Mimi, Grampa Al is home in Tipton taking care of the 4 yorks and a miriade of other problems we have going on.

I am sure I will know a lot more tomorrow, for now, that nasty artery that was wrapped around her wind and food pipes is gone and she is not shy about telling us how sore her arm and back are.

Carol,
Thanks for the update. If she's complaining about how sore she is, that's a good sign! Sounds like she will soon be on the mend and better than ever. Prayers will continue. Hope you can now get some rest also.

Carol and Al--We add our prayers to all the others. What a blessing that you can be there Carol. Families are so important when there are difficult times to get through. Take good care of yourself so you can continue to take good care of Mimi.

Thanks again for all your prayers.

Gramma is very tired, delayed reaction, of course.

Grampa is home dealing with a lot of other large situations, including a health situation with our little Abby, the "going blind" york. Something else is going on there now as well.

Lisa is out of ICU, she is one very very sore puppy, and the complaining is getting louder. She needs to sit up more, and cough more, but that will come.

The surgery was far more disturbing as far as her ribs and a lot of other stuff, since they had to pull out with the robot, and that will make the recovery time much much longer.

She came up with an interesting comment earlier, saying that she sounded like the dogs. I had no idea what she meant, but with some questioning, I figured out she was talking about when Abby breaths hard and rasps, and she knew that it was not good for her to sound that way. I was rather surprised at that discussion. But, I did get her to sit up so she could breath better.

That is all I can think of now,

Today's quick report: In play room when I arrived at the hospital at about 2ish this PM, walking around, almost all tubes gone, at this point, the only issue we are aware of is that her oxygen levels are still down, they are augmenting and watching. She may be home in 24 to 48 hours.

Kids are amazing! They bounce back quicker than we can imagine! It all sounds good. She may be sore, but she won't let it get her down! We will be praying for her continued recovery.

I bet that brought tears to your eyes, Carol, to see her being a little girl in the play room. What a wonderful picture. So glad that she is recovering so quickly.

Mrs. Countryguy, using Countryguy's 'puter

Lisa is home, I am home, it was a long week, now we get on to healing and fixing all the other situations in our lives.

Al and I would like to thank ya all for your kind thoughts, prayers and all the moral support. This was quite a shock to our systems, shook us to our core.

But, we had lots of good friends that stood behind us and gave us strength and and listened.

THANK YA ALL!
