3500RL delivered

We picked up our 3500RL Sat 4/16, we spent alot of time going thru the PDI. followed the checklist pretty good. even took a DVD with us. Thats when we found static in the Home theatre system. it was in both the reciever and DVD mode. The tech will get back with Keystone on monday. I did not want to hold up delivery just for that. I guess they don't catch everything. Montana should have heard this when they checked it out, it was a very loud static. other than that I could not find any problems. The tech even showed me the 2 hiding places in the 3500RL. Our first trip will be this next weekend to the beaches on north carolina. we will have a good time rechecking everyting out. I'm still trying to figure how to get my wife out of the 3500 and get her back in the house. LOL

Bill and Gloria,
Congrats on the new coach. We feel your excitement. If you read through the posts about the surround sound Keystone offers you will find that many of us are replacing it with another product. Enjoy finding how everything works on your coach.

I think the 3500 is now my favorite floorplan. We saw one at the RV show in New Orleans a couple months ago. The wife went back three times to check it out - barely got away without trading the 3280RL. I got to stay away from those shows !! Congrats, it's a beautiful unit. Enjoy.

We couldn't resist. We did trade our 3280 for one. Still waiting for it to get here.

Congrats on the new coach. The 3500RL is a nice unit. Debbie really likes the separate den. I hope you make many happy memories in your new rig.

Congratulations, Bill & Gloria! The 3500RL is my favorite of the new floorplans (Vicki's favorite is the 3400RL). Both are beautiful. Have a great weekend!

Congrats on your new coach. Curious as to what NC beach you might be going to for the weekend. We live at Sunset Beach (near Calabash @ NC / SC border). Hope you have a GREAT time! Unfortunately, job responsibilities for the next few years are eliminating our chances for camping, so we decided to sell our 2004 3685FL. The new owners are supposed to be picking it up on Wednesday. We will be sad to see it go because we loved the unit..... just decided it wasn't practical for us to store it for 3-4 years. Maybe by then Montana will have an equally comfortable floorplan as the 3685FL.

Bill, I know what you mean about not being able to get your wife out of the rig. We picked ours up on the 9th of April. We have been furnishing it since then. I (Kathi) am not able to keep myself out of it. In fact yesterday Paul laid down to take a short nap and I snuck out and 1 hour later he came out and found me in there reading. I just love ours. We have the 3400RL. Today I went out and velcro'd all the remote controls to spots were they could be found easily. Also I velcro'd anything that sits on the counters that might fall while traveling. I learned this the hard way one time when we stopped and opened the door to the rig, everything was everywhere but in its proper place. What a desaster. Paul just informed me that we have a booster for the TV's, I wanted him to take me out right this minute so that I could look at it. He wouldn't. Can you imagine.I don't know why not.
We are going for our first outing to Pauls High School Reunion at the end of April. We will be going to Oceanside California for 1 week. That should prove a real test. The one problem that we found is that when we close the slides the carpet in the living area rolls to the middle and causes a long lump. I can't tell you how many times I have tripped over it so are taking it back next week to have that fixed when we go to pick up the washer and dryer that I had to have. I mean, Paul got his generator so I got my W/D. Right, isn't that fair?
Well hear is wishing you and Gloria only good luck with your new rig.

Congratulations on your new Montana. Keep us posted on your adventures. Wanting to be in the Montana is a common "ailment", I think. I go out to ours and just stand there marveling that we were lucky enough to get it - it is soooo beautiful! And hubby always seems to be out there washing it, tinkering, rearranging the basement storage area, etc. Happy travels.
