Beating our way up the west Coast of Michigan

Nice state Parks along the L. Michigan shore line Warren Dunes too small for us. Low branches small site. Holland State Park OK close to dunes. Ludington State Park even bigger nicer and right next to beach. People catching salmon here today. 2 days each place. Wed and Thurs plan to be at Traverse City S. P. for 2 days then on to the big bridge area and the patsy search begins. Weather good. Scenery good. Fuel high. Found good warranty furnace repair (suburban) S.O.S. Emergency service about 25 miles north of Holland. The guy has a fifth wheel fixed up as a furnace repair shop. Replaced limit switch. Thing works again. Wonder Dog likes the sand here but rules say he can't use the beaches. But there a lot of dunes inland.

Have a good week. Hello and thanks to all the Rally folks we met. Hope everyone had a safe and comfy trip home again.

Onward to the North and West!

I bet you have not really seen high fuel prices yet! Our diesel here is now at $2.30 gallon. Keeps us closer to home these days.

Hi Jim,
Glad you guys are having a good trip. Glad to hear the weather is treating you right. Too bad about the heater problem. But you got it fixed quickly so that is good. I'll bet Lobo is having a ball. We're about 100 miles northeast of Denver. Will be headed on south tomorrow. Really windy our entire trip today and of course it was against us!

Mary Kay is still doing OK. As long as she doesn't try to overdo things she is ok.... otherwise she ends up hurting. But we're making it... You folks have a great trip and we'll see you later... HamRad
