Interesting idea. Not at all sure it is worth 289 bucks. Maybe at 149. I'd defintely want to turn it off when not in use so outside transmitters couldn't provide an unexpected surprise.

Now if they could design a remote to dump all the tanks, flush the hoses, disconnect and stow the electric and freshwater hose, raise the stabilizers, remove and stow the tripod and other assorted stabilizing paraphernalia, and the list goes on. Personally, I gotta get out of the truck to release the hitch anyway so I guess I'll save the $149 and raise and lower the jacks. That is until someone has it at a yard sale for 10 bucks.

Probably so!
What I need even more than a remote operated hitch release is a remote backer upper.

Glenn, I'm with you, a remote backer upper would be my number one desire for a gaget. Got a trip coming up soon and I am already dreading backing this big sucka into a camp site.

When NASA wants to test software packages, they give it to my wife. She can find more things wrong by accident than the code writers can preconceive.
Having said that, have any of you ever set off the panic alarm on your auto by inadvertently pressing the keychain button while in you pocket? Well, what happens if you are sitting back enjoying the grandbaby jumping up and down on your lap and depress the landing gear button in your pocket? I am sure they have designed for this eventuality or have they?

stiles,
I think that's why they have an "off" switch. Another thing for the checklist. Think I will do without...

I agree about the off switch, but the thought of it just gives a "sinking feeling" if you know what I mean.

I guess it depends on which button you push... it could give you an "elevated feeling!" if you know what I mean.
