Oh Kathi, (sigh) if only I were worthy of your praise! Here's a couple pounds of mea culpa for ya.....I frequently won't believe the Magellan voice of reason, and obsessively switch between "shortest time", "shortest distance", "most use of freeways", "least use of freeways", then use the VIEW button to examine each routing, THEN start messing with the EXCLUSION key.
My wife: "Are we going to leave TODAY or should I go up to the front desk and pay for another WEEK?"
Me: "This darn thing is trying to tell us the wrong directions again!"
Magellan Voice: "Keep to the Left in TWO miles, then keep Left in point 1 miles"
Me: But that will take us off a cliff!
Magellan: "You've ignored my directions once too often, bucko. Keep to the left, Then....keep to the left all the way down."
Me: See! I told you! Geepers (our pet name for the homicidal appliance) is trying to kill us!
Wife: Ok, we're paid up until tomorrow. Will you put that thing down and pay attention to your children for once?
(sigh) Maybe Paul and I should chip in on a GPS home study course or something?
