Bill n Pat I bet you most anything that if you closed your grey value with nothing in the grey tank than run a few cycles on your machine you will see that it dumps into the grey tank, That's why dealer tells us to open grey tank when running washer if you are not going to be around.

Bill n Pat, several of us have installed the extra valve to nearly double capacity, as you mentioned. Ours is not removable, though. It's permanently pvc cemented in place. If you come up with a removable valve, please post particulars. I'm sure many members would be interested in that. Thanks.

Steve,
GypsySCM had one at the rally, and I have since seen them at CW. It is an easy way to add the extra valve, but I think I still prefer the assurance of a cemented on valve.

Gypsy was not very far from us but I didn't get around to see as many of the improvements as I'd like. Thanks OntMont.

update... unit is still at the dealer's for extensive work. no word as of yet, but still haven't heard anything more from Keystone either. it seems as though it depends on who you talk to in order to get a straight answer on this question.(is the washer designed to drain into a grey water holding tank or straight to the city sewer line?)I think after talking to some of you, I found that people have them both ways. maybe it depends on the year and model.it would just be nice to get an official answer.
