Montana 3500 rl vs Big Sky 350 rlq

I’m planning on buying either the Montana 3500 rl or the Big Sky 350 rlq. I’d really prefer the Big Sky but I wonder why Keystone opted to not put the fridge on the slide like they did in the 3500? It seems like it shouldn’t be an issue of its larger size because it’s on the slide in the Big Sky 340 rlq. Any ideas?

Did you also notice that the 350RLQ has the washer/dryer cabinet by the front door. It is not in the bedroom like on the 3500RL Montana. Not sure why the fridge was moved on the Big Sky, but I think it was a great decision as well was moving the washer/dryer to the entry area.

I couldn't be without my closet by the front door. I use it everyday for jackets and my hats umbrellas etc. I even installed a coat hook by the closet when I need to temporarily hang up a jacket or hat before I leave again. I'm very glad my unit doesn't have the w/d by the front door. sometimes i wash clothes after settling down for the evening and ready for bed, and i don't have to go down the stairs to take them out since all the clothes are going to end up in my bedroom drawers or closet. i like everything about my unit. i really lucked out finding it because many others i looked at (all different brands) was missing one thing or another or they were in the wrong place. but like everything...everyone has their own likes and dislikes of any and all units and i'm glad the manufacturers cater to all.

The washer dryer closet by the front door is a great improvement I think, but the stationary fridge will make the interior space smaller than the 3500rl. I guess the only way to know for sure is to look at them in person.
