NOTE TO SELF!!!

We started smelling an odor in the head of our split bathroom. I thought maybe I had a plugged vent pipe. I took the cap off of the vent over the head and stuck a hose in to flush it out. I was watching the clear-view dump pipe and wondering why no water was coming out when a shout from inside told me that water was coming out of the shower drain???
No damage, but I learned the the hard way that the vent pipe for the black tank is over the shower/sink area and the vent for the grey tank was over the head. Anyone else made this false assumption or is it just me?

I did not know that but thanks for letting me learn from your mistake. Now if I can just remember that if and when I need to pump water down one of the vents...

BTW, Steve, did you solve the odor problem?

Steve and Ellie,

We had a odor situation too, in the potty room. Pretty much cleared up when the potty broke and we replaced with a new one. Makes ya wonder if it was something around the seal of the potty????
