Missing numbers

Great job posting the MOC numbers with the members name, thanks. My question is why are there missing numbers?

DHenry,
There are missing numbers because from time to time we delete members that have become inactive. Usually if someone has not logged in for six months or longer we will remove them from the membership list. I would guess that would account for most of the missing numbers. It has been sometime now since we've done that. When we update our records we will see it that is what causes the missing numbers.

Hi,

I understand RVWheels about you and the other moderators having a life and wanting to enjoy it. I have struck through my suggestions that created so much work. I appreciate all the work you and all the other moderators do for this forum. Thanks to all of you!

This may be more work than the ADMIN'S want to undertake [s]and may confuse things and create animosity within the group so [/s]please do not take these suggestions to heart.

While this topic is still in its infancy.

[s]How about a lottery or raffle for the lower numbers. Maybe, if someone wants a number lower than say 100 or their favorite number and that number is VACANT they could make a donation to MOC for administrative costs and take over that number.

Or it could be based on number of posts to the group, or as a reward for the most helpful suggestions / improvements contributions to the group.

Or the members that have the highest attendenance records for rallies.[/s]BTW I don't qualify for any of the above suggestions.
Just my thoughts on the numbers.

If this catches on, then maybe the bumper stickers could have an area for the members number. A black sharpie marker would have to be used to put the number on.

But a format could be established. It won't do much for traveling down the highway but might be useful at campgrounds. Or on the Tow vehicle when not at the CG.

uhftx,
Thank you for your suggestions.

We are all volunteers and as such we do have other lives. Maybe not much but we do have them! You are talking about much too much work. So unless the donations are HUGE..... Lottery huge... And I'm talking about 6 figure plus type lottery. this isn't going to happen.

The numbers will continue to be generated by the registration process. They will be what they will be. To try to do otherwise would be an administrative nightmare.

I agree RVWheels besides being a political nightmare. I did copy all the names and numbers into a spreadsheet and will share with anyone who wants it. It was so easy once all the names and numbers were in a list. THANK YOU for doing this for us.
Happy trails.................

How do we find our numbers? There is probably a simple answer or it has been stated before and I just did not see it. Thanks.

Paul,
Please look at your name in the far left hand column. Below your name you should see MOC-299. That is your registration/membership number. Searchers suggested something regarding member numbers and ForumCo placed this in the ID column on the left side of the posts.
