Winterizing-Again

Just about ready to put the Monty away for a winter nap. All the fluid winterizing is done but two more questions. Where do suggest putting the "dryer sheets" in the trailer?

I also have several moisture absorbers any special place for these?

When we winterized we never did anything other than shut things down and winterize the water system. I'm not sure the purpose of the dryer sheets so if you can tell us that maybe we can help. Also, do you have a moisture problem that requires some absorbing material or am I missing the purpose?

I put bounce sheets in all my outside storage compartments and under the draws in bedroom and kitchen. Just in case any critters get in. I also put four or five moisture absorbers on the floor spaced out between the front and rear of camper. Just in case any moisture gets in. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks, some people must not have understood my reasoning for the dryer sheets and moisture absorbers. The winters in Northern Wisconsin can be tough.

I seem to recall that someone recommended the dryer sheets specifically to discourage mice. No personal experience though.

Dryer sheets discourage other critters as well like ants.
Happy trails.................

We use the Bounce dryer sheet to discourage critters also. I think the moisture absorbers are a good idea.
