Hey Vicki, there is a Texas Roadhouse here in Elkhart!
When you guys get here next July, the four of us will have to do a formal dinner. We'll use it as a belated birthday dinner excuse. Only we will do it perhaps at the clubhouse on the golf course here where we are members.
Happy birthday!!

Wow, now we're really sorry that we're leaving before you guys arrive in A'que. Nothing like dining with nice people.

Happy Birthday Vicki I had the beer in the back of the picp-up and it all fell out of the truck when I took off to quick, being late for this wish. "Happy Birthday Vicki" I'll have to put an IOU on that beer maybe in Shasta.
Click below it was to big to put on the screen.

As a matter of fact, if any of you fine folks come to Elkhart County, call me. If our schedule allows, we can go to dinner with any of you! Besides, that will give all of you the chance to meet the best part of me. Gail.

Thanks again to all!
Mary Kay ... I'm really looking forward to being in New England for my b'day, I've been wanting to do that since we started this full-timing thing. Miss you guys too ... hope Roscoe is on the mend.
Pete ... I don't drink beer (long story, ask me about it next time we see you guys ... next year's Rally maybe?), but I love a good Margarita, on-the-rocks no ice. So you can have "my share" of the beer.
Judy ... after an exhaustive search, we learned that the Texas Roadhouse in A'que doesn't open until Dec. 1st , so it's back to Plan B-dinner in Amarillo.
Dale ... the Texas Roadhouse in Elkhart is the very first one we ever ate in, and the food and service was so good we've eaten at T.Rs in 5 or 6 states now. We like going to very casual places where we can wear jeans and, if I'm having a bad hair day (a frequent occurrence) I can wear a ball cap ... not to mention ribs and prime rib to die for!
J.D. ... Steve isn't kidding about the cooking thing!
Again ... thanks to all ...

We'll take you up on dinner in July, Dale. We'd love to meet Gail. And I'm sorry I've been misspelling her name. Dale and Gail. Confusing to old guys like me.
Formal? Like in 'coat and tie'? I quit doing those things when I retired. I have one suit and one tie and one pair of dress shoes onboard this Montana. They're for weddings and funerals. July in Elkhart, can I wear shorts and sandals to the Country Club? (Just kidding).
