We've paid freight charges on all four new fifthwheels we've purchased but never a PDi charge. Nor would I pay that. I guess that gives the dealer something to give in on and make you feel you got a better deal. Our dealer has his own pdi and does a pretty thorough job, though not as thorough as us. And there was never a mention of a charge for that service.
