Thanks, SMC and Parrothead. I had heard a few years ago that the dual panes don't have opening windows other than the emergency exit in the bedroom. That would be a deal breaker for us. But I'm glad to hear that is no longer the situation. Or maybe never was.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

Our bedroom window doesn't open, except as an emergency exit, but since we rarely open the shades in there it is not a problem for us. When it is hot, we keep the bedrom door closed and the vent open along with the little windows. It usually stays cool. If not, we use the airconditioner for a bit to cool it off. It usually cools off here at night, so we are lucky.
