I got to get one
Well after much thought I have decided to purchase one of these.

I like the Montana blue, now if I can get it silk screened with MOC's TT2 that will be great, and when I go to the dunes my son and friends will be able to see where I am at, including Q-site what a great beacon.

hmmmm - maybe just "Hot Air". There's usually plenty of that at the campgrounds and dunes !!

At a welding shop supplyhouse, at least that is where the baloon sailsperson said to get it.

Because!! I go to Glamis and with 50,000 RV's in a area it's hard to find your fellow campers, and even at Q-site it would have been a great "Here I am". and I'm a sucker for big baloons.

I think its a really cool idea, especially, like you said in a place like a big rally or Q-site.

I've seen it at party supply shops. It looks like a 3lb steel propane bottle but they're disposable.

Don, I like your idea. A little flashing strobe light would be fun at night (UFO). I use to tie a weather ballon to the truck on a 25 foot string when we hunted Sage Grouse in the desert. It sure made it easier to spot the truck after a couple hours of chasing birds. For you bird hunters; if the birds won't hold and they're getting up way in front of you, try taking a black ballon filled with helium on a 10-20 ft string. Tie the string to your belt. Game birds think its a hawk and will hold until your dog can sniff them out.
