We called the campground this morning and we can get into our Elkhard 4h fairground site on the 18th. We might get it on the 17th, but will just have to drive in and see on the 17th. They said we could always get any site on the 17th and move to our site on the 18th.

I think we'll do that.

Well Hurricane Irma kicked us out of Georgia all the way to the Elkhart County Fairgrounds. We've had some adventures along the way including a stop at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The people there were unbelievable. We received gifts of water, cookies and a group cooked bar-b-que for us. There is a Road Trek rally in progress here but sites in the back row (401-410) are not being used and the coordinator of the event graciously allowed us to occupy our site. We are glad to be here and to begin exploring the area. We are hampered a little in that our living room slide won't extend without bending the adjoining walls. A crack has already started and we have stopped midway through the procedure. Still all in all we feel pretty good and happy we kept ahead of the weather. Safe travels everyone and if you have any questions that the Wagon Masters can't answer we would be happy to research them for you.

There are four other Montana's in the 200 section. We'll move over to our assigned site after the Roadtrek. Stop down and join us for Happy Hour.

We'll, best laid plans, blah, blah, blah.

We don't know if we'll even make it, our truck decided to go into limp mode just west of Des Moines. Luckily, we were able to make a campground and call Good Sam. The truck is at the local,Ford dealer and hopefully we'll know something tomorrow. As soon as I know what's what, I'll post up.

After a EGR valve and 3 sensors being replaced, we're back on the road. Just pulled into the KOA in Rock Island, spend tomorrow as a down day (laundry, cleaning, watch the grass grow), then head to Michigan City Monday, arriving in Goeshen Tuesday.

We look forward to meeting everyone.

We on the other hand will be a bit late. We have a commitment the morning of the 19th. We will be hooked up and reading to go. We are only about 3 hours away, we have been there 12 times before and we know where our site is. We may miss meet and greet.
