Water draining from toilet bowl
All winter in Florida, water would not stay in the bowl. I tried all the recommended fixes - recleaning the seal, vasoline on seal, snapping foot pedal and still would not hold water. Called SealLand and they sent a new seal and some other parts. It seems like I never had the time to replace. We then traveled back to Michigan and set up at our park and Presto, the water now holds. Something must have been stuck or lodged in the seal but, with the beautiful rough roads we traveled north on, all is now well. Will hold onto the spare parts for the next time.

Isn't it nice to once in awhile find the rough roads helped rather than dumping the pantry or the refrig.

It's amazing how those things will hold water when you don't sit on them for a long period of time!!!

This is somewhat late...I'm new to MOC and am just now going through past discussions. We traded a 2005 3400RL in on a 2008 3465SA this spring and, three months into using it, our Sea-Land toilet quit holding water as well. I went to a Montana dealer in Iowa and purchased a new Sea-Land ball-seal kit. It was a completely different design than the one that came installed at the factory, so it may be that Sea-Land had problems with the original design and re-engineered it. In any case, the new seal has shown no problems whatsoever.
