Secret compartment in 2009 Mountaineer 285RLD?
I have a 2010 Montana 2955RL and I have a secret compartment in the closet of my rig.
My friend has a 2009 Mountaineer 285RLD and has secret compartment envy. Is there a secret compartment in his model?

Not sure about Mountaineers, but Montana's had them for many years.

Are you talking about the safe in the floor in your closet? Thats the only thing in my 2955RL that you might cosider secret??

No, there talking about a secret key/jewelry hideout that used to be in either the front bedroom closet or a dresser side. It just looked like a piece of wood, but when you pulled on it it opened up into a small place with hooks in there.

I found mine a couple weeks ago. Before this winter when someone posted, I never knew it existed. It didn't take long to find. DQDick described it perfectly here.

The 2005 2955 had two "secret" storage compartments. The style on the far right side of the cabinet above the dresser was one. It opened up with hinges on the right. The other was a hidey hole on the top of the cabinet. You might need a step stool to see it.
