SPRING? Where did it go this time??

We had a 3 to 5 snow forecast for tonight and another 3 to 5 tomorrow. This the 5th of April, you know with all the showers. Snow showers DO NOT COUNT!! So if the snow stops this month then we get the April rain in May when we should be getting MAY FLOWERS! The way things are going we will still be wearing long johns in June when the fish are supposed to start biting.. I would love to have a campfire but the fire pit I haven't seen since mid Jan..

I hear ya. I just got home from work, 21 degrees, about 3" of snow yesterday. It feels like January. I look over at the Montana, still covered and remember a day in mid-February that was so nice, I considered uncovering it then! Good thing I held off. Well, hope SPRINGS(!) eternal..

We are still venturing out for this year's maiden voyage this weekend. Probably have snow on the rig Saturday morning, but the itch to get it out outweighs any cold or snow!!

Wind is the big issue out west. Going to try and follow a storm east latter today. Don't want to miss Tornado season in Kansas

Yep, we feel the pain also. The last week we have had one or two inches of snow every second day. We now have the three snows on the crows but wait more snow forecast tomorrow night and another a couple days after that. Seems we had April in March and we are now having March in April.

Frustrated isn't the work I was looking for!!!

Spring has been here in the Southeast. Temps have generally been in the 70's. If you can avoid the few storm events, it's been a great spring. I feel for you guys. Lived in Kansas for 60 years and know how it can be.

Seems everything is out of whack. On Easter of 2015 my grandson and I built a snowman. On Christmas 2015 were were in our shirt sleeves @ 60 degrees. Winter didn't arrive until the middle of January and it was shortlived until it's return last week.

Our local weather man has been mentioning how many months in a row this area has had above average monthly temperatures - 12 months beginning last April. I believe it will end this month.

Just the opposite here in north TX. No winter. Starting mowing the lawn in February. Have never done that before. Normally late March/early April getting the mower out. Even we had snow in March last year.

Hope this not a sign of things to come for the summer. May be a hot one.

Nice here in the desert Southwest. 80's and 90's but cooling off into the low 80's for a couple of days. Averaging 10/15 degrees warmer than normal. By next week we will be in the Northwest with temps supposed to be 70's and 80's. Remember that is just a weather man's theory but I guess it is a good as we can get.
