Addicted to MOC

At 70, I cannot understand those who are addicted to their smart phones, facebook, and twitter. Yet, I cannot turn on my IPAD without checking the MOC Forum to see if there are any new posts! I guess I need to stop being so critical.

A couple of years ago our grown kids couldn't believe the DW and I didn't have I-phones. I thought they were stupid and a waste of money. We are both on our second ones and I don't know how I ever lived without one. Just like I don't think I could do without the MOC. It is like having a Keystone Service Tech and an RV Expert living with you!

I agree with hunts800, I check the MOC Forum on my pad 3 or 4 times a day to see what is going on.

I'm brand-new, don't even have her home yet, and I also check MOC forum 2-3x/day. I guess it may help me wait till I actually get to hitch up and drive her away.

The addiction is evidenced when the forum goes down. Symptoms include sleepless nights, finger spasms, glassy eyes, and quite a few undiscovered ones!! DW says I could not survive without contact with my "forum buddies" as she fondly refers to the MOC membership!!

Checking the MOC forum is FREE! Using an I-phone; not so much.

Too much good information and too many good people can be found here.

There is more useful information on here than on the Nightly News. More entertaining too.

I'll X1000 on your post! The MOC is also highly educational and a money saver (well, most of the time except for mod madness thanks to Ozz)

At least with the MOC you feel pretty good after reading the posts. After listening to the Nightly News you get depressed!

It's the people. Nobody judges you here, just answers the question. I told my wife our next RV will be a Montana. I have too many friends and people, I truly like on the MOC! Also we can laugh at each other's stories and tear up when someone passes. That's why I stay here! Reminder of the song from cheers ?
