Sue, the average is 2.5!

Pete, if I were doing 100k miles per year towing for the manufacturers I'd go with the Cummins just because it runs forever. But for 35-40k per year I'll stick with my Ford!

Isn't great to have so many excellent choices?

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

BirdingRVer,

With regards to the mercedes diesel in the chryslers - I don't think the merge has went over that well at Daimler-Chrysler between the top brass. They almost split up not too long ago. I can see the eyebrows raise at the board meeting when it gets suggested.

Besides - I think Dodge has always had a hit with the Cummins. Mercedes would be steps ahead putting the Cummins in thier Unimog.

Abraham Lincoln once said of a man, "Never have I seen a man use so many words to express such a small idea." I wonder if that might apply to our truck wars. Has anyone changed your mind with all this retoric?

Oh well, I guess it is something to occupy the time.
