With that cover the rain sensor becomes a mute point. The only time "moisture" closes my vent is when there is heavy dew in the air. With that MaxxAir cover on, there is no way rain can come into the coach through the FF.

Sue, our current FF is manual, doesn't have the rain sensor. But I would think Dave's explanation correct. It makes sense, anyhow. The nice thing is you can use the FF during any weather. Well, in subfreezing weather we don't use it much.
