Accident At The Dirt Track

Occasionally we like to visit the local dirt track and watch the races. We became interested in it when our daughter Kathy introduced us to it while her boy friend was racing. He is now our son-in-law and sometimes he will still race. He wasn’t racing last night but a popular driver from Grayson, KY (Jackie Boggs) was racing. He qualified the second fastest in time and then he was disqualified because of being too light whenever he was checked on the scales and had to race from the back of the line up. He was involved in an accident that brought out the red flag and later they landed a helicopter for him to be air lift out for treatment. I’m not positive if he actually went on the helicopter or not but it was reported that he stood up in his car after the accident and was talking and alert.
