RV Fire
Go to RV Fire and click on Photo Galleries. Then click on Fire at Tallahassee RV Park. They have several pictures of a Pace Arrow parked next to a beautiful Montana Mountaneer that is going up in flames - notice the big propane tank next to pace arrow. Sad thing

I feel sorry for all concerned but really sorry for the poor people parked nearby that received damage through no fault of theirs. Unattended cooking isn't a good idea even in a stick house let alone an RV.

I feel bad for the people that lost their home. Also people that owned the coaches that were parked near by.

SCARY. Unattended cooking? Maybe even a crock pot is bad. I wonder if thos folks that have the Montana are MOC members? Best of luck and thoughts to all those people.

Wow!! Like Parrothead said, unattended cooking isn't a good idea in a stick house. I investigate fires for a living and on average go on a couple of unattended cooking fires a month...haven't had one in an RV yet. You can see in Pic #5 the fiberglass skin on the Mountaineer is starting to bubble and wave from the heat. I would guess the Mountaineer sustained major unseen damage from the intense heat. It's a good reminder especially with winter arriving that we can't be too careful.

How sad! Brings back memories of our loss of our 40 ft. Wilderness fifth wheel that we lost to a fire after it was hit by lightning in 2000 while in Canada.

Too bad that someone did not watch what they were doing. Before I read the caption in the first photo I thought maybe this motor home was on a Ford chassis that somehow was caught up in the cruise control failure recall. In pictures five and six it looks like the heat has caused skin buckling on the Montana, bet the owners were sick.
