Water Quality

So were full timing for the next two years for work in Ca, weve been in this park sense December. The water has a lot of mineral in it that you have to make sure you wipe even a drop of it off what ever its on. I looked at getting a water softener from Culligan but the cost is just way out of line, I can purchase one with what they charge. Anyways I am looking at an RV system that either a salt system or a salt less system, looking for some advice as Im leaning towards the salt less system.

Nine years of full timing and had an On the Go water softener the whole time.

We've used a Watts softener, similar to the blue On The Go units, for about six years. These units drastically reduce mineral deposits in your plumbing fixtures, and are fairly easy to recharge with plain table salt.

We are very happy with the On the go double standard.
Regen about every 2 months, 2 boxes of table salt and 1 tsp. of iron out.
