When you complete the form hard copy or on line be sure to check the temp box you have to then put a stop forwarding date. If you do the on line form you can log in and change that date at any time. We set that date about 10 days prior to returning home.at that time we complete a yellow form and mail to our local PO instructing them to hold our mail at the Po till we return works well

Because we stay in the same park for 6 months we just have the post office forward our mail to the park in Az. When we are ready to return to Idaho we call the Idaho post office and tell them to hold our mail. It is always there when we get back in Id.
