We would like some campground suggestions. We may decide to fight the snow and go after Thanksgiving. Thanks in advance, Stacy

We would recommend Heritage RV Park. We stayed there a few years ago and we liked it. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again. Easy to find right off of the interstate.

If it is open, the Williamsburg KOA is highly recommended. Close by and clean.

I have no idea what is open there this time of year, but we stayed at the Newport News Campsite near exit 247 or 250 on I-64. It is a county or city park and cost about $27 a night. Very wooded, not too many full hook up sites. We thought it was a great spot in a good location.

Corncob said --> "stay at the Williamsburg KOA"

My wife and I stayed here last spring on our way back from Florida --
I agree with the comments about it being clean -- but some of the sites are tight manuevers, even for the pull-thru's -- there are two parks now combined as one, and the one I am referencing is the 1st one you pass
