Ordered our window awnings from Camping World, Nashville and wouldn't you know it, they were on sale........ almost 50% off. was $117.50 and paid $81.00. Now I like that. We are having them installed October 20th once we get down there. Will take in a little of the sites as well. Just thought I would let everyone know in case someone is looking for window awnings.
We are also having the sunshade for the big window at the back installed. $107.10... Looking fwd to having that..

We did not have them on our last rig but made sure that our Monty had them. They continue to be great when it comes to keeping leaves and sticks from coming inside when you close the slides. I saw a neat thing a while back where someone with another rig had used what appeared to be volley balls pushed between the awnings and the slide top to keep the water from pooling. I seemed to work very well. I have seen too the Carefree of Colorado with a support rod under theirs to keep them from sagging. I assume it is to keep the water from pooling as well.

Our dealer came very close to matching Camping World's sale price for window awnings and rear window roll up screen, all from A&E. We'd rather give him the business so he's ordered them.

Our rig came in without the slide toppers we ordered (dealer messed up the order) so the dealer has them ordered. Meanwhile, today we had to move from one rv park to another. We'd been in that one since Thursday and were parked under oak trees. This morning I crawled up on the roof and swept acorns, twigs, and leaves off the slides. Yup, acorns. Those I'm sure would not have been nice to push through the slide seals. I'll be glad when the slide toppers are installed.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

Dave, I hate to tell you but I think today was the last day for the sale unless there is a new sale going.
