Help with a price for a Monty

I need some input. My better half ans I just came back from a short ride after Dinner tonight and came upon a Montana 3650RK that had a For Sale sign on it with a price of $34,900.00. I'm not sure of the options inside, bit I did determine that is a 2005 Year Model. Any inputs, comments, or suggestions would be appreciated. Only thing i did notice was that it did not have any awnings over the slides like we have on our Mountaineer. We were looking to upgrade in the future, but if this is a good deal - the Future may be here!
Thanks, and I've been periodocally browsing this site for over a year and finally joined - It's GREAT!

It would be hard to determine the price till we had a better idea of the options and condition. The 3650 is, as I am sure you know, one of the largest Montana models and a fine unit. On the surface the price sounds reasonable but there is not yet enough information to know.

Remember that slide awnings can be added by a dealer on a later date. All depends on the options this coach has.

Also, when you figure the price at the nadaguides site keep in mind many of the boxes you can check are for items that are standard on the Montana and are included in the base value. If you check those boxes it will inflate the value. Check the www.keystone-montana.com site or a brochure to see what is standard and what is optional.

Just got a little more info - it has:
Fireplace
Central Vac
Ceiling fan
DVD/CD Combo
TV
AND they will take $26,500.00 as there bottom price - they need to get rid of it as they now have a permanent park model in Florida. Only problem is that someone is to have given them hand money, but has yet to do so. Told them to call by the end of today.
Sounds like a good price to me.

Sounds like a good price. I'd take if they would be willing to do a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) with you first. Plan on 5-7 hrs for this checklist, then ask if you can stay in it overnight before the money is exchanged.

Get forms and advice from this forum and make sure everything is in order before you hand them a check. If they don't want to do this PDI before taking the "hand" money, I'd probably be suspicious - regardless of their excuse...

It it really a 05 year model.. Does everything work.... That is almost a too good to be true price.. I would run over there with hand money in hand..and if it is what it appears to be...it is a steal....

I agree. If there's nothing wrong with it then that is a terrific price.

Being that they haven't responded may mean they are on their way to becoming Montana Owners.

If I was in a different financial situation I'd be jumping on it.

I'm waiting to hear if the other party has given the owner hand money - he is to let me know A.S.A.P. There appears to be nothing wrong, they just want to be rid of it. The owners are in Florida and have quit traversing North to South each year. I know the individual selling it, and he is trustworthy. Just need to be patient I guess and see what transpires.
OH, by the way. If the deal is a go -------- anyone looking for an almost new 2004 Mountaineer 315RLS that has been camped in only 5 times? Hmmmmmmmmmm?
