Admission price: $3 per ticket
Received word today (3/23) of the ticket price from Bill Lawrence,
(Recreation Enterprise) the promoter of the event.


Parking fee: $10 per vehicle
Price set by Cal Expo, not the event promoter.

We're hoping to attend the one this month also. We always love looking at new Rvs.... I just hope we don't go crazy and buy a new one.

So the "List of Products" at the show *DOESN"T* include Montana, Big Sky, or Mountaineer, but does include several brands offered by Dan Gamel (who has closed his doors once again - maybe forever). Will there be enough rigs to justify the entrance fee?

Interesting....we were just looking at the new models at Folsom RV. There was an Rv show last weekend that they were at here in Sac...doesn't look that they are going to be at this one.....

What's interesting about this show is they don't advertise a price for entrance fees or parking. Nor does the official Cal Expo website list the show in it's calendar of events. I have a call into the Cal Expo office to see if the show is really taking place.

I haven't received a response from Cal Expo yet, but here's an email response I received from the folks putting on the RV show:

Hi Margee,
We are going forward with the show.
Because of the economic climate in the RV industry and the dealers the details have yet to be worked out.
We will post them as soon as they become available.

Anyone trying to attend? I think we are I just don't know what day.

We attended this show yesterday and it pretty much was a waste of time. Only three dealers attended with less than 300 RVs. We didn't tour the motor homes, trailers, truck campers or tent trailers.

We then drove on over to Folsom Lake RV and toured Montanas and Cougar 5th wheels. They have a large selection of Montanas new and used. Even found a Cougar we liked alot. Sure do like the "side aisle" with the fully enclosed bathroom. We noticed some new floor plans that you can't access the refrigerator with the slides in so that's a killer right there for us.

If you buy a new rig.....I will need an escort to view it.....I remember the first time I seen the inside of your Montana....
the "trip" was a little too much for me.
