Bed improvement

While we were on holidays we bought a mattress memory foam with a fiber filled cover. It needs a bit of trimming but it sure helps the bed comfort. The king size a Cosco was about $169.

Is that the 4" thick one?? One other question, is there specifications of the foam weight?? Might seem like stupid questions, but we are looking at a 4" and have heard there are different densities of the foam out there.

We didn't look at that but it is quite dense and the carrying weight it is very heavy for the size

Don & Mary Ann that is what we did a year ago when we got our Monty. We think that it is as comfortable as our stick house bed. Yes we had to trim it up too. The excess cover is tucked in on the closet side of the bed.

For those that do not know..

You can trim the memory foam with an electric carving knife.

You may want to check Tuesday Morning stores, I purchaced a "real" Tempur-pedic 4" matress topper for our queen matress in the 3295rk for $39.95 last August (2006) and no triming was needed. The only problem with Tuesday Morning is that they sell close outs and when they are sold out they usually do not get any more in stock

That is interesting. Your post sent me on internet search, where I was astounded to see a listing for that store within 3 miles of the house (had never even heard of it before). E-mailed DW and told her to check it out. Now listed at $59.99/Queen and $69.99/King both with zippered velour covers. Web-site: Tuesdaymorning.com for current ad on-line. Thanks a bunch, now hope they have the king that we have been waiting for.
