2015 Entrance Door Spring Question

Our 2015 Montana has that spring loaded entrance door that is supposed to stay open by itself. I'm not to satisfied with it, even with minimal wind it flops around. Does anyone know if you can adjust these doors to be more wind resistant or do you ultimately install a door holder, like the Montana's used to have?

We did not like it. Replaced the hinges with traditional,(few holes did not match up, black caulk took care of that) and installed traditional door latch.

If you put a traditional door latch on, is it necessary to actually change the door hinges?

No need to change hinges, just install traditional door holder.

I agree with just add the latch. My friction hinges actually work quite well with me realizing that they are not designed to hold the door open in strong winds. I have seen doors blown shut and or all the way open with both styles of hinges. Not much else you can do except hold on when using the door and use the latch in high winds if leaving the door open.

You can adjust the hinges. I just adjusted mine on my 2016 375FL. If you look at the hinges there is a series of hex bolts ( allen screws) on each hinge. Find the proper sized allen wrench and tighten each one just the smallest bit. It doesn't take much. When all 12 are done try the door. Repeat if necessary. Remember it doesn't take much. Mine is much better now

For the life of me I could find no Allen type screws for adjustment, I wonder if my 2015 door is different?
