We were up that way in June. The places we loved the most were 1) Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, right on the Bay of Fundy. Great camp sites and stuff to see. Highest tides in the world. 2) On Nova Scotia, we stayed in Baddeck, which is on Cape Breton Island, which is the northern part of NS. Our spot was at the Baddeck Cabot Trail Campgound. Great place to stay. We drove the Cabot Trail, which is one of most scenic drives in the world...just leave your Monty in camp, and drive it CLOCKWISE!! The fortress at Louisburg was also a hit. 3) We then took the ferry from Pictou to Woods Island, PEI. Stayed in a great camp in New Glascow, called the New Glascow Higlands Campground. It is a stones throw from Green Gables, of "Anne of Green Gables" fame. By the way, the ferry going on to PEI is FREE, if you are going one way. You only pay to leave the island! When you do leave the island, drive off on the Confederation Bridge back to New Brunswick. That cost us just over $40, but cheaper than the return on the ferry. All in all, great scenery, great lobsters, great time!!
