Sofa Couch

We have a 2016 Montana High Country with a bunk bedroom in the rear. There is a couch that pulls out to a bed. My issue is that when you set it up it slants back so your head is about 5 inches lower than your feet. Not very comfortable. Has anyone else seen this? It's almost like they made the legs too long by mistake. I guess i could take the legs off and cut them down. Thanks

This is an old post, but I thought I would give it a second chance since no one replied first time around. Our sofa bed is the same way. I don’t see any way to modify it, other than lay a piece of foam over the low section. Would appreciate any suggestions other than buying a new sofa. This thing is unusable by adults, marginal for kids.
