Washer shutoff access

Any suggestion as to how to get to the washer hoses to turn them off without pulling the washer out of its place would be appreciated. The spendide fits so close to the walls that it is hard to get in there to access the water hoses. The hoses that are screwed into the washer are accessable, but the ones that screw into the hookup are tight. Have any of you made an access panel.

No but that is a good idea. Hope someone has thought of that and will share.

Well think I would go into the basement area and find the Washer pipes hot/cold and install a cut off valve. I would also put a drain hose in that area also. Our Cambridge 358 had a manifold were we could turn off each water line to the sink, bath, shower and the washer that was a great system. Our (SOB) also has a maniford water cut off system. GBY....

We have a 3075 model but also found access to the washer shut-offs difficult. We had access to the hot & cold lines in the cabinet under the bath sink. Just cut the lines and put two valves in there.

A bit inconvenient since we have to get down and reach to the rear of the cabinet to turn them but also much easier than what we had to do at the washer.
