We full time and worked for the Corps this summer and will work for Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Arizona this winter. There will be roundtable discussions at the Rally on both Full Timing and Work Camping if you attend it should be both fun and informative.

We are full-timers and are volunteer park hosts at the LCRA Matagorda Bay Nature Center RV Park in Matagorda, Texas. We started in June and will be here for sure through the end of November, and possibly through the end of February.

We do "volunteer" work at many of the campgrounds we visit...it's our home while we are there, so why not do something to make it better than we found it????

Still working to try and get more vendors at the Rally so the schedule isn't ready to go up yet. All the usual things are in place, Ladies events,Driving School, Factory Tour, MorRyde, lippert, Tredit, Blue Ox, Computer classes, Microwave class, Pull Rite as well as the dinners and get-togethers, camp fires etc. We will also have dinner at Tiara RV on them and an Amish Dinner you can sign up for (well worth it). There will be a garage sale, media exchange as will as the forums I mentioned and a time when folks can work on the hobbies they do in their rigs and show others as well as some other fun stuff. Since we didn't get a Wagon Master in the spring as we should have it's still a work in progress and there probably won't be a preliminary schedule out until around labor day. And no, due to working on all of the above, (had four part time jobs this summer and am still working three) I haven't attempted to find a coin catcher yet. Haven't even looked at the four other forums I belong to since this thing started.

We aren't full timers, however you may want to check into the local RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). They have several areas to volunteer in, my favorite is building wheel chair ramps for folks that can't afford to pay a contractor. Good luck with your search.

Not quite full time yet, but volunteer as much as possible. Actually, we are having a discussion this weekend with a no-kill shelter in FL that needs a bunch of carpentry work done...they'll give me an rv site and a boat slip, I'll give 'em my best work in return. I travel with most of my tools anyway. Hopefully it'll work out, if not we'll find some other spot down south to volunteer.
