Thanks fellas,

I promise I will look, will not promise I will actually learn it.

Right now, I am working on cemetery books, on a roll here, and don't wanna stop for hours of learning curve.

I really do appreciate all your help, neat links, I am reading, yes, I am.

I don’t want to repeat myself and sound pushy but another advantage I thought of was with your genealogy work you could build a web site which would attract other researchers of your surnames. I used to have a site where I had some of our genealogy on it. You could easily learn enough in just one weekend or less to set up a basic page. To me the most difficult part would be setting up a hosting Co. and getting the initial page online. After that it’s a piece of cake especially in doing up-dates.

Another thing that hasn’t been mentioned is a program for transferring data to your site. You may already be familiar with doing that somewhat. If you decide to download an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program, may I suggest FileZilla. I use it all the time. It is a good program and best of all its free.

Really though just take one thing at a time and you will enjoy working with HTML.

Thanks Bill.

There are a lot of ways to get the genealogy online. At this point in my life, I don't choose to go that way, for a lot of reasons, which is another thread, and another life! HAHA

The "enjoying" part, well, that is still up for debate!

Back to the cemetery project!

Many thanks to all of ya putting on your thinking caps for me!
