Cable Connection

We have a 2006 2955RL - We are having problems getting our cable connection to work and also have sound through the surround sound. We have replaced both TV's and home theater system due to a power surge last year. We have surround sound when on the antenna booster. When we hook into cable, we cannot pull the channels in if we are connected to the home theater system. When we disconnect the surround sound, we can get the stations in on both TV's. Has anyone had this problem and if so what are we doing wrong? Thanks for your help. We are at the moment in the Rio Grand Valley.

Have you tried turning off the booster? In my coach when the cable is hooked up, I have to turn off the antenna booster to get cable on both tv's.

You are the victim of RV diabolical wiring. Turn off the tv antenna booster and see what works. Then turn on the booster and see what works.Whatever works is normal for your unit. We disconnected the Fm radio from the antenna booster and use a outside antenna so we can use the radio and watch TV at the same time is we choose to.

Same here. Booster is only for when on the antenna. It messes up our cable.

On both rigs we've owned, if the booster is on we get no cable reception.
