Fresh water connection problem

Again, here I am with another problem. Went to Bodega Bay this weekend for a much needed heat relieve trip. Hooked up to the city water and found out water was not going into the trailer. I understand it has something to do with the anti-siphon valve. Would anyone know what caused this and how to fix it.

On our unit the anti siphon valve is just behind the filter screen you see in the inlet. If you can remove the screen there is a little arm there that may be stuck. Try to free it up. Stand to one side as if there is pressure in the water system you will get wet!. Good luck.

Larry and Lydia, the valve behind that screen has an o-ring. If that o-ring gets out of place it can restrict water flow. It happened to me when I didn't relieve the pressure and the water in there froze and pushed the o-ring out of place. This was back when we used to put the Montana away for the winter. I was able to get the o-ring back in place with some effort but it's not real easy to do.

I'm not sure this is the problem but you can check it pretty easily by prying out that screen and taking a look.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
