Interstate 5 near Mt Shasta

Yesterday (sun) we saw a number of Montana's in the Mount Shasta area on Interstate 5 and at the Weed rest area. We were not towing so didn't get the chance to flash. We pulled along side a white Ford going South and waved but no response. Was looking for the MOC bumper sticker and number?

We bbq'd a couple of hot dogs at the Weed rest area as we headed SB on Sunday afternoon. We were pulling with a Burgundy F-250 and saw a white F-350 leaving with its Montana (both of us with 2955s) as we pulled in.

HOWDY! If we had known we could have stopped in and had a dog with you. We were headed to Dunsmuir around 12:30 and came up on the Montana that had just left the Weed rest area so I was checking it out when I saw another Montana in the rest area. Could have been you!

This may be my first contact on this thread! YAHOO!!

I'm sure it was us! That's pretty cool. We've not had any response on our light blinking in the two months we've had our Montana. So I guess that counts as an "almost" first sighting for us as well.

I'll have to get an MOC bumper sticker.

Were you headed to the RR campground? We looked at it on the way to Brookings. It seemed very nice; close to "real" camping.

We were in the car heading to Dunsmuir to visit friends. We live about 20 miles South West of Yreka in Fort Jones. I try to flash every Montana I see no matter what I am driving. Most people think I am nuts! But I have connected with MOC members a couple times. This was my first on this forum though!

Congratulations - out of all the sightings I've posted on MOC, I don't think I've had one response. Someone did post that they had seen us though, in Nebraska - they were in their car and we remember them flashing their lights at us.
