Cold andCabinet Doors

I checked on my unit in storage, and noticed that many of the cabinets are having trouble closing now, like they expanded over the window. I now have to close them both together to get them to shut. Has anyone else had this problem? Once the weather gets warmer, do they fix themselves, so to speak?

Thanks

Ed, when we stored ours over the winter we never had this problem. Temperatures were not as bad as you get but we had zero F temperatures, sometimes lower. I asked Vicki about this and she thinks it sounds like you have too much moisture inside. Is your Montana covered? I wonder if it would help to keep a vent cracked open a little if you have a cover over the vent. Just a thought.

Kozzy, Ours have done the same thing, probably the moisture from sitting over the winter.Should be okay once it dries out alittle. We have left our vents opened alittle to help with the moisture too.

I will try opening a vent next time I check on it. I do not have it covered, as to not hold in moisture, but I will try and open a vent, see what happens. I am going on my first trip April 5th, that means, I have to be getting it ready soon, hopefully, the temperature here will rise a little, otherwise, I will be getting it ready on the road.

I was in Mississippi for two months where it rained a lot and all my doors swelled and I had a hard time closing them. When I would open one the one next to it would open too. I am now in Nevada where it is drier and now they work just fine.
