Peoria, AZ and spring training

Is anyone famiiar with the Peoria area. Phyllis and I want to go down for spring training for a week next March and watch the Mariners. We are going to fly, and was wondering about fairly nice Motels, etc. Thanks

It's allowed when your dear wiffy can't get enough time off to stay down there for the entire spring training season!! doggonit!! So we have to fly down and squeeze as much time in as we can, It is towards the endof the school year and she is just busy as all get out!!!

What do you want to know about Peoria? I have tons of relatives in the area, and have visited there several times.

If you go to mapquest.com you can get the names and addresses for the 5 hotels that are in the immediate area of the Peoria Sports Complex which is where the Mariners play. The sports complex is south of Bell Road on 83rd Avenue in the city of Peoria. It is approximately 30 miles from the airport in Phoenix.
Good Luck and enjoy. It is currently 102 degrees in Phoenix
