According to my wife post 53 is 100% true and correct. She says ,yes we will pay the accident claim on a over loaded tow vehicle and related damage to other peoples vehicles or properly because of your negligence or stupidity UP TO THE LIMITS OF YOUR POICY then it goes under the victims "under insured" insurance part of THEIR policy up to the limits of their policy then when this dose not cover the expenses of having to re-do her newly styled hair-do they will take you to civil court and clean your clock.
Just think of the O.J. trial, found not guilty " if the glove doesn`t fit you must acquit " but then taken to civil court and found guilty for millions of dollars in a wrong full death case.
Roll the dice and see how they land it`s your call, be happy

Waiting to cross the river, saw this and went down and looked. A 3 axle TH pulled by a SRW 250 gas Ford. She said we need to try and get off before them so the accident doesn`t slow us up.
I know it is hard to hear, But she is right.....I have one worse......My Son is Lawyer and told me basically the same thing......Nothing worse than having to admit your 26 year old Son is right.....

All I know is an insurance company will look for any reason not to pay. But then maybe Allstate is different - after all, you are "in good hands" -

There are opinions and then there are facts - it is a fact that, legally, his truck can weigh 10000 lbs. It is a fact, that he will be no where near that with this rig. It is also a fact, since he stated so, that he does not care. But then he says he does care, so, it is a little confusing

Actually the numbers on door are just that - numbers on the door. It only includes the weight of the truck and a tank of gas. For instance, my 2500 was 'door' rated at 2300 lbs payload. But when I weighed it - 1300 lbs was the actual payload, when fully loaded.

Maybe they won't deny coverage, but they can and will drop your ass. And then you have the new insurance bill to look forward too. And in most states, if you are found at fault, it is your insurance company that has to pay...

I ask my agent about this a couple years ago. I said if l turned in too many claims Allstate would just drop me. She assured me Allstate could not drop me. I had been with them long enough I was, I guess grandfathered in was the was she explained it. Then I said they could go up on my premium, could and would was her answer.

In California you have to have a Personal CDL for a Montana.....And I lived in Chino Hills.......California does not play around with the Risk Takers......

It’s actually a non commercial class “A” and that depends on length and weight. That does not apply for all Montana’s. It’s over 40 feet.

But I think that’s what you meant as a personal cdl.

Yep......I don't know what else to call it......Did not matter for me I have a Professional CDL A.......But I thought it was a good idea that you had to prove you could drive the thing.......About the only thing I agree with in California......I will let you know the other things when they come to mind......LOL....

Actually it is for fifth wheels exceeding 15k gvwr. The 40' is for housecars.
