Soft Ice Cream? Ice production down?
A refrigerator gets it's 36-40 degree temperature form the freezer compartment, so soft ice cream and low ice production is a precursor to warm milk, a warning sign, as it were.
Well, the Ozzman found that his ice was low, so I pulled the cover to our Sears Kenmore frig bottom, and found a nice furry coat all around my coils. The makers really complicate the cleaning process. You brush the couils while vacuuming, that gets the first coil clean, but mine has 2 more sets of coils where you can't reach behind the first row, you can't get get to them.
SO...I had to bring up my CO2 bottle and hose and BLAST it.
Your air compressor will work for you.
Mamma will not be happy when all that dust comes blasting out of the back, but a guy has to do what a guy has to do......
