Shore power connection

I need to replace the wall-mounted male electrical connection on my Fifthwheel ( 2018 High Country 305RL). Is the ships wiring a 30amp system or 50amp? Currently it has a 3-prong receptacle that locks when the power cord is inserted and turned.

It is a 50 amp connection. The three prongs are the two hotlegs and the neutral connectors. The forth connection is the ground connection that is the shiny metal connection that is on the side of the plug that mates with the connector on the inside of the receptacle.

2018 you should be 50A.
For the rear wall receptacle you want a

NEMA SS2-50P 125/250V] [Twist-Lock]

Not necessarily this one (white).

True Mods 50A Inlet Shore Power Supply Receptacle for RV Camper Boat [NEMA SS2-50P 125/250V] [Twist-Lock] [Low-Profile] [LED Indicator] [Dust/Waterproof] [6/3+8/1AWG Compatible] [ETL] [UV Resistant] https://a.co/d/9Kdq22b

IF you have a 90⁰ plug, pay attention to how the inner contacts are arranged so the plug hangs down to relieve strain on the connection.

Tiny screws circled in green can be removed and the inner plug rotated. Mine only had 2 screws and the whole inside turned when I tried to get it to lock. I got it turned back where it belonged and added more tiny screws.

This one is the more square shape that most are (I think).

Yes, it’s 50amp. I’m curious…why do you need to replace it? Like Daryles I had to remove and turn ours so the plug would hang strait down.

Thanks to all for the discussion and helping me confirm what I need for my 5r! I bought a brand new FURRION wall-mount 3-prong male receptacle that is rated “50amp 125V/250V”.
As this is a new coach to me, I am replacing the receptacle because the old one was damaged by the previous owner.
