Added a light in front compartment

Can't believe they didn't put a light in there. Picked the light up at CW. Only took a few minutes to install. I tied it in to the outside light in the out corner of the RV.

Top right is the new light.
Top right center is where I made the connection

You can see the light that I tied into. The new light is above the larger door, in the top right corner, mounted on top of the door frame and all I have to do is flip the switch!

Great idea. Yet another inexpensive but valuable modification! Thanks.

After mucking around in the darkness in that compartment I installed a similar light in almost exactly the same place right after getting my 2012 - 3402RL, I however got the power from the circuit breaker.

I saved my old porch light after I replaced it with an LED Motion detection light. Great idea. I'm always using a flash light in there.

I also added a new light - much better. Keystone needs to do that as a standard feature.

So Scotty -How is it that you have so much more HP/TORQUE than the standard 350/800?

I like the light mod, that compartment certainly needs to be well lighted. Seems like I remember someone posting that there is no light in that compartment from the factory due maybe to RVIA rules, but it could just be a least cost issue.
